In 2018, Dorchester Brewing Company’s first year participating in the parade, the brewery was the first runner up for the Best Float Award. This is the second year that the brewery has participated in the parade with floats designed and built by Craft’d Company, a woman-owned, Boston-based events and marketing firm that specializes in working with breweries.Ĭraft’d Company worked with the brewery to bring their “rolling beer garden” float to life complete with turf, flowers, traditional biergarten tables and rainbow-filled beer steins.
